Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barrosa are expecting a baby girl.

The couple – who already have two daughters, four-year-old Isabella and two-year-old Gia, as well as Luciana’s daughter Alexis, 11, from a previous marriage – have revealed they are “thrilled” to be adding another girl to their brood.

Matt said: “It’s a girl! I’m thrilled. I just love my kids so much. I’m anxious to meet her.”

The Oscar-winning actor admitted while he doesn’t think he is pampering his pregnant wife enough at the moment, living in New York means it is relatively easy to pander to her cravings.

He added: “I’m probably not pampering her enough. The one good thing I’ll say about living in New York as a dad is like, whatever craving she has, not only is it less than a block away but most times they’ll deliver. So it makes it really easy.”

The 40-year-old star also explained that while he has achieved a huge amount of success in his career, being a dad is the most “exquisite” experience of his life.

Matt told OK! magazine: “It’s great, it’s really incredible. And just completely different from any other experience I’ve ever had in my life! It’s like relearning life. It’s actually kind of amazing. It’s just really exquisite.”
