Born on June 5, 1898 in the city of Bonito in Italy, Salvatore Ferragamo was famous for making and designing shoes for the celebrity during the 1920s before founding its successful company - the Ferragamo Company. He was best known for introducing innovative shoe designs and was the one responsible for creating cage heel and wedge heel in the shoe industry. Ferragamo was the eleventh child among the brood of 14.
